Kozette
Master’s degrees in Community Development and Environmental Law
Kozette brings over 30 years of experience, including more than 15 years dedicated to environmental services. Her expertise spans integrated environmental management, compliance, and impact assessments. She has held key roles in consulting, academia, government, and the private sector. Kozette also established an organisation focused on nature-based climate adaptation, integrating conservation with community development. With dual Master’s degrees, she enhances ENVASS through strategic leadership and multidisciplinary insight.
Gerdes
BSc Honours
Gerdes holds a BSc Honours degree from North-West University and has over six years of experience in environmental consulting. He specialises in groundwater modelling, GIS analysis, flood assessments, and drilling supervision. His technical skillset includes proficiency in MODFLOW 11 and ArcMap. Collaborating closely with geohydrologists, Gerdes plays a vital role in water assessments, license applications, and technical reporting, strengthening the overall value proposition of ENVASS with a data-driven approach.
Retha
Membership in IAIASA and SACNASP
Retha is a seasoned Environmental Consultant with over 30 years of experience in industrial environmental consultancy. She excels in assessments, audits, ecological studies, and management systems. Retha leads multidisciplinary teams and ensures regulatory excellence. Her affiliations with the International Association of Impact Assessment SA (IAIAsa) and SACNASP reflect her high professional standards. As a key associate of ENVASS, she supports strategic growth and drives sustainability across South Africa’s industrial sectors.
